Conference Facilities

The 1999 ACH-ALLC conference at the University of Virginia will take advantage of recently installed and refurbished facilities on the historic central grounds of the University, close to on-grounds housing and to all three of the sponsoring UVa organizations. The center of conference activities will be Newcomb Hall (#22 on the map above), and on-grounds housing will be in Brown College (#5, above). The resources of the University of Virginia Library include Alderman Library (#1 on the map above), which houses the Electronic Text Center and the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities.
