REF
This is used to make internal links within the document (such as a link from the table of contents to an individual work). The target takes the same form as a <pagenote> target, but should begin with the letter "r" to indicate an internal reference (.e.g, id="a.r.*"). The target (id="a.r.*") can appear in <figure>, <item>, <l>, <lb>, <page>, or <title>.
